夕日が 海に落ちて
昔に栄えた 佐渡金山の周辺に
静かに 相川音頭が 流れ出る
のどかなテンポ
哀愁をたっぷり纏った
三味線の音色と歌声が
昔の面影を宿した 小さな通りに
やさしく 響き渡る
やがて
優雅な踊りが
狭い通りを ゆったりと 進みゆく
わたしは
あまりにも 切なく懐かしい
この空間と時間に 魅了されている …

As the sun sets over the sea,
the music of Aikawa Ondo quietly flows out around the once prosperous Sado gold mine.
The somewhat tranquil sounds of the shamisen and singing echo quietly, cloaked in melancholy,
through the small street that still bears the vestiges of the past.
Soon,
the elegant dance moves slowly down the narrow street.
I am enchanted by this space and time that is so sad and nostalgic …
