満月の光に 浮かび上がる
伊豆の秘境
― 千畳敷 ―
この地で切り出されたものは
“伊豆石”と呼ばれ
江戸城の石垣にも 使われたという
石切り場の痕跡 を
一晩中 穴が開くほど 凝視していると
500年以上の時空を超え
石を切り出す音が
かすかに 響いてきた

A secluded area in Izu
that emerges in the light of the full moon.

The stone quarried in this area is called
“Izu stone” and was used for the stone walls of Edo Castle.
As I stared at the traces of the quarry all night,
I could hear the faint sound of stone quarrying over 500 years later.
