砂から ちょこんと顔を出し
夕日を浴びながら
咲いている
花の名は ― グンバイヒルガオ ―
周りには
花を守るように 葉たちが 立ち並んでいる
私が 見つめていると
天然記念物のヤドカリが
花の脇を ちょこちょこと 通り過ぎた …

A flower emerges from the sand,
bathed in the setting sun.
The name of the flower in bloom is
“Gumbai Hilgao”.
Leaves stand in a row around the flower,
as if protecting it.
As I stared at the flower,
a hermit crab, a natural treasure,
strolled by the side of the flower …
