― 十日前の感動的な出会い ―
宝登山の ロウバイの開花が
例年よりも遅れ
可憐な花は 三月に入っても
まだ 咲いているという
関東に 寒気団が訪れたとき
私は ロウバイに呼ばれたと 感じた
翌朝に ワクワクしながら出向くと
１０センチほどの
雪が降り積もっていた
朝霧が 静かに流れるなか
雪のドレスを纏ったロウバイの
鮮やかな小さい花は
あまりにも 美しかった
ため息をつきながら 見つめていると
爽やかな 早春の風が
私の体を 突き抜けていった

The blooming of the Roubai（A flower called wintersweet） in Mt. Hodosan is later than usual, and the pretty flowers are still blooming in March.
When a cold air mass hit the Kanto region, I felt called by the Roubai.
The next morning, I was excited to go to the mountain and found about 10 cm of snow on the ground.
The bright little flowers of the Roubai, dressed in snow, were so beautiful in the quiet morning mist.
As I gazed at them with a sigh, a fresh early spring breeze blew through my body.
