長い写真家人生で
一度だけ
ファインダーの中に
お姫様が 現れたことがある …
はるか遠い 若かりし頃
私は
朝霧の中で 桜とナノハナが咲き乱れる
夢心地の光景を 描いていた
“お嫁さんが欲しいなぁ”
と 思っていた時期かどうかは定かではないが
ファインダーの中に
いきなり お姫様が現れた …

Once in my long life as a photographer,
a princess appeared in the viewfinder of my camera …
When I was a young man,
far away,
I was painting a dreamy scene of cherry blossoms and nanohana blooming
in the morning mist.
I am not sure if it was a time
when I was thinking “I want a bride” or not,
but a princess suddenly appeared in the viewfinder of my camera …
