10月下旬
久しぶりに滝雲を撮影するために、枝折峠で車中泊していた。
普段は大勢の写真愛好家で賑わう場所だが、
滝雲が発生しないとわかる曇天では、ほとんどの人は来ない。
私はただ、じっと暗い風景を見つめ続けた。
いかなる状況でも、
何かが訪れるというのが、私の信条だ。
やがて、遠くの山の稜線が明るくなり始めた。
私は望遠レンズに取り換え、一条の光明を描いた。
この光は、二分ほどで消えてしまった。
ただ、私は、自然界からこの一瞬のご褒美をもらえたことが嬉しかった。
私はここに、“希望”を見出す。

Late October
I was staying in the car at shiori Pass to photograph the waterfall cloud for the first time in a long time.
Normally this place is crowded with a lot of photo enthusiasts.
Most people don’t come on cloudy days when you can see that waterfall clouds don’t occur.
I just kept staring at the dark landscape.
Against all odds.
I’m a firm believer that something is coming.
Soon, the ridge lines of the distant mountains began to brighten.
I switched to my telephoto lens and painted a ray of light.
This light disappeared in about two minutes.
I was just happy to have been rewarded with this momentary treat from the natural world.
This is where I find hope.
