しとしとと雨降る日であったが、
時々薄日が射し込んでいた。
私は雨も好きなので、気分は上々。
そこで、ブナと黄葉の仲間たちを少し明るめに描いた。
作品の露出は、撮影時に完成させるのが理想だ。
後からパソコンでいろいろと手直しするのではなく、
自分のイメージ通りになるように、
できるものならば一発で決めたい。
それは、料理と同じかもしれない。
濃い味付けにするのか、薄味にするのか。
後から手直しするよりも、一回で決めた方が美味しいはずだ。
何よりも、自分自身はどのように描きたいのか、
そのことが問われる。

It was a drizzly day.
But sometimes there is a weak light coming through.
I was in a good mood because I also like the rain.
I painted the beech and its yellow-leafed friends in slightly brighter colors.
Ideally, the exposure of the work should be perfected when I took the picture.
I don’t want to make various changes on the computer afterwards, if possible.
I want to take a shot at making sure it’s exactly how I want it to be.
It’s the same with cooking.
Do I want it to be thick or lightly seasoned?
It’s better to take a shot at getting the flavor you want at the time, and it tastes better when you decide to give it a shot.
More than anything else, the question is how I myself would like to paint
