天盤から 滴り落ちた 水滴たちは
故郷を目指して
氷ながら 筍（たけのこ）のように
育っていく
それゆえに 氷筍 と呼ばれる
なかなか
飛び降りれないでいた 水滴たちは
氷ながら つららとなって 眼下の大地を 目指す
双方とも 同じ故郷出身だが
目指すところが違うようで
おもしろ不思議

Droplets of water dripped from the bedrock of the ceiling and froze,
growing like bamboo shoots as they made their way home.
This is why they are called ice stalagmites.
The water droplets, which had been unable to jump down,
turn into icicles and head for the land below.
Although both of them are from the same hometown,
they seem to be aiming at different things,
which is strange and interesting.
