― 6日前の平尾台カルスト台地にて ―
初めて呼ばれて馳せ参じたものの
雨と風までもが 歓迎してくれた
けれども
私が会いたかった“シラン(紫蘭)”が
満面の笑みで 出迎えてくれた
か細い体は
雨と風に 揺らされていた
厳しい環境の中で
気高く生き抜くその姿に
私は 魅了された
花言葉のひとつは
“変わらぬ愛”という …

― Six days ago on the Hiraodai Karst Plateau －

greeted me with a big smile.
Her fragile body was shaken by the rain and wind.
I was fascinated by its noble appearance of surviving in such a harsh environment.
