日蓮宗の総本山
― 身延山久遠寺 ―
日蓮上人がこの世を去ってから
７５０年以上もの長き時間にわたり
法灯（※）は 途絶えていない
やがて
庭に植えられた 枝垂れ桜も
４００年以上の長き年月を
途絶えることなく
法灯を見守るかのように
咲き続けている …

Minobu-san Kuon-ji Temple,
the head temple of Nichiren Shoshu.
The Dharma light（※） has not ceased to shine for more than 750 years
since Nichiren Shonin left this world.
The weeping cherry tree planted in the garden has been blooming for more than 400 years, as if to watch over the Dharma Lantern.
