その昔
後鳥羽上皇と後醍醐天皇の
流刑地となった

島の山奥に
およそ樹齢900年に近いと思しき
杉の巨樹が 暮らしている
しめ縄を身に纏って
森にたたずむ姿には
まさに
神が宿っているような
荘厳が 漂う
