絶滅から

今では ４５０羽ほどが生息する 佐渡島
世阿弥が

日本の三割を超える能舞台が
ここに現存する 佐渡島
６月上旬には
“トビシマカンゾウ（※）”が
そこかしこに 賑わう 佐渡島

※ 日本では佐渡島と飛島（山形県）の二か所だけに自生する。ニッコウキスゲに似ているが、それよりも少し大型で花数も多い。

This flower is native to only two places in Japan, Sado Island and Tobishima Island (Yamagata Prefecture). It is similar to the Broad dwarf day lily, but slightly larger and has more flowers.
