今回の写真展では
今までとは違う ひとつの願いがあった
それは 感受性豊かな子どもたちに
写真展を見てもらい
感動し 刺激をうけ
自然界や生きものたちへのまなざしが
少しでも深くなってもらえれば という願いだった
そのために 教育委員会の協力を得て
港区の小中学校の生徒に ＤＭを配布したのだった
私の願いは 達成されたようだ
子どもたちは
一人ひとり それぞれ違う好きな写真を言い
きらきらと 目を輝かせていた
この写真展が 少しでも 社会貢献に役立ったことが
何よりも嬉しい …

This photo exhibition
had a different wish than before.
It was a wish that children with rich sensibilities
would see the photo exhibition,
be moved and inspired,
and deepen their perspective on nature and living things,
even if only a little.
To that end, with the cooperation of the Board of Education,
we distributed direct mail to elementary and junior high school students in Minato Ward.
My wish seems to have been fulfilled.
The children
each mentioned their favorite photos,
their eyes sparkling with excitement.
The fact that this photo exhibition contributed to society in any way
is what brings me the greatest joy…
