※ その後小国町に二泊したが、今朝の晩秋のブナ林は霧も立ち込めて私を歓迎してくれた（最後の写真）

A photography exhibition at “Ayu:M” in Shirataka-machi, Yamagata Prefecture, opened on 12.
The next day, many more people than expected came from all over Japan to attend the gallery talk.

I was so happy that I was able to speak passionately for more than enough time.

I am sorry that some people misunderstood that my exhibition was on the floor in the last issue, so I am posting it again.
I stayed two nights in Oguni Town, and this morning the beech forests in late autumn were misty and welcoming to me (last photo).

A major exhibition “Listening to the Spirits in the Wild”
will soon be held in Yamagata Prefecture in the Tohoku region of Japan
to summarize my life in photography.

―　The venue is Ayu:M, a cultural exchange facility in Shirataka Town. ―
This facility has a spacious and beautiful museum-like gallery.

Eighty-one large-size prints will be displayed in a relaxed manner along four themes.

Finally, from November 12 to January 15, 2023
a long-running photo exhibition will be held.
I hope that as many people as possible will appreciate these works of mine.

Tonight, I finished decorating the exhibition “Listening to the Spirits in the Wild,” a large scale exhibition that summarizes my life in photography.

A photo book of the same title will be published in conjunction with the exhibition.
The book contains 81 works from the exhibition, so that those who cannot visit the exhibition can view all of the photographs.
The book also includes English translations, so even those who are not fluent in Japanese will be able to enjoy the exhibition.

The book will be on sale at the exhibition, but if you would like to have it delivered to your home, we will accept reservations as follows.
We will send them out as soon as possible after the exhibition starts.

The exhibition will feature my past themes “Urabandai”, “Oze”, “Cherry Blossoms”, and “Japanese Islands”. The exhibition includes 80 large prints , including new works. The exhibition will be held at Fujifilm Photo Salon in Tokyo (July 8-28) and Osaka (August 5-17), using the entire space of Space 1, 2 and Mini Gallery respectively（Foyer section in Osaka）. This is the first time in my career as a photographer that I have had such a large scale exhibition. The project has already started, and I look forward to working with everyone to make it happen.
