久しぶりに
“樽見の大ザクラ”に　呼ばれた
これまで二度ほど呼ばれたが
２２年前の初見のときは
ジャングルジムのような支柱が痛々しくて
少ししか　描くことができなかった
二度目は　衰弱して花数が少なく
痛々しい姿を　描くことができなかった

そして　今回は
ある樹木医の手当てによって　元気になっていた
私は嬉しさのあまり
復活した姿を　
千年以上も咲き続けている雄姿を
しばらく　撮り続けた

不思議なことに
支柱を気にする心は　まったく失せていた　…

For the first time in a long time, I was invited to see “Tarumi’s large cherry blossoms” .
I have been called twice before.
The first time, 22 years ago, the jungle gym-like support was so painful that I could only draw a few pictures.
The second time, the cherry blossoms were so weak that I could not depict their painful appearance because there were so few blossoms.

And this time, it had been treated by an arborist and was healthy again.
I was so happy that I kept on photographing its resurrected form, a majestic figure that has been in bloom for more than 1,000 years.

Strangely enough, I had lost all concern for the cherry tree support …

“今度　ゆっくり酒を酌み交わしましょう”

そういいながら別れた　…
それが最後の　会話だった

同じ　ミツガシワという花を見つめながら
友は　この世を去ってしまった

防平スキー場では
今なお　霧氷をまとった
“白いカラマツ”を　堪能できる　…

同じ写真が　二度撮れることは　ない
永劫の中の　一瞬

私たちも
その一瞬を意識して
生きることが　輝きにつながるのだろう　…
