I finally arrived at the Ogasawara Islands, a world heritage island!
The color of the Ogasawara sea I saw for the first time …
It was an indigo color that was so clear that it seemed to absorb my body and soul.
This beautiful color, rare even in the world, is called “bonin blue.
That alone is enough to make me fall in love,
but to see a green sea turtle swimming leisurely in the water,

私が呼ばれたときは
激しい風が吹き荒れ　強い雨が降り続け
誰もいない　
とても不思議な　光景だった　…

土壌が酸性ゆえに　微生物が少なく
亡骸が
なかなか分解されないのだろう
今なお　生きた証を誇示するかのように　
粛々と　堂々と　佇んでいる

静かに　葬送曲を

I came here to take pictures of Ezoiso azalea, but I was fascinated by the magnificent dead dwarf stone pine trees.
The acidic soil and lack of microorganisms probably prevented the decomposition of the dead tree trunks.
The corpse still stand solemnly and majestically as if showing off proof of life.　
The Ezo azaleas were quietly singing a funeral song.
